Live or Zoom Workshops (60 - 90 minutes each) Media writing and career pathway preparation for students serious about pursuing studio or independent vocations as professional writers and media creators. This school year, WriterJump's Paul Donnett will be providing high school classrooms with 7 industry-level writer workshops covering: • Career pathways for writers & media content creators • Asset & portfolio development  • Professional disciplines & best practices • Industry interfaces & building your professional network • Post-secondary preparation (8 steps from selection to application) Career pathways include: • Online media content creator • Screenwriter (film, TV, web series, podcast) • Author (fiction, non-fiction) • Freelance, blog or copy writer • Producer • Director Sessions include: Workshop 1: Mastering Ideation, Audience & Story Development Workshop 2: Discovering Your Creative Voice & Themes Workshop 3: Mastering Characters, Plots & Arcs Workshop 4: Mastering Visual Storytelling & Dialogue Workshop 5: Writing Great Scenes Workshop 6: Pitch, Career & Portfolio Fundamentals Workshop 7: 1-on-1 student review feedback 1 Workshop $250 3 or more workshops $200/session For more details, contact Paul: paul@writerjump.com “Paul has been become an indispensable part of our script writing and filmmaking process.
